APPLICATIONS

1 .   R E A D   T H E   A P P L I C A T I O N   F A Q S . 2 .   A P P L Y . Email your application to Outpost 12 Mods with the word Application: followed by your character's name in the subject line. The body of the email must contain the following information: Desired character's full name and canon Character’s age and physical description Brief biography and background (you can expand on this in your character's journal, if you like) An analysis in your own words of your character's personality. (No links to outside articles, please.) Reason for wanting to play at the Outpost Personal contact information (email, instant messenger) URL of character journal URL of player's personal journal An in-character writing sample (for instance, a sample entry post) or a link to some of your current roleplay. Treat this as an audition; your application's acceptance depends on this being some of your best work. Your character journal must contain the following information: [character name] is the intellectual property of the creators of [canon name]: [owner a/owner b/owner c]. This journal is being used for roleplay at outpost12. No infringement is intended and no profit is being made. We ask that in addition to a brief biography and physical description, the profile states the point in canon from which your character is taken. If your character has special powers or abilities that can or do affect their interactions with others, those should also be noted in the profile. A character's application will not be approved until this information is in the profile. We also require that the character profile provides some contact information for you: IM handle, email address, PM, or a place where people can post to get in touch with you. 3 .   J O I N   T H E   C O M M U N I T Y . Once your application's been sent, log into Dreamwidth as your character and join the community. Your application cannot be processed without this step. 4 .   W A I T   F O R   A P P R O V A L . While you can send them in at any time, applications are only processed during the last week of each month. If this changes or if the moderators are unable to process applications, we'll announce it in our OOC community. Note that not every character will be approved. Character acceptance is at the discretion of the moderators.
